Start your day with us! We’ll get you jazzed up with a strong coffee and sweet treat. Our claims to fame include our Chip Chip Cookies (luxurious chocolate chip cookies with potato chips baked in to make a perfect mixture of salt & sweet), our extra fluffy, buttery Rosemary Croissants, specialty lattes dreamed up by our cafe manager, and lots of made-from-scratch gluten-free/vegan options like our Sweet Potato Cupcakes and the owner’s signature Carrot Cake on Saturdays! To walk off those goodies and enjoy the natural beauty around us, head over to the Watershed Trails, right here in town. They have 28 miles of groomed trails for hiking and biking. We’re also loving the Lenape Ridge and Minisink Trail Loop for a more rugged trail with wide, scenic vistas. Don’t have a bike? Bike got a flat? Let NeverLost Adventures take care of you. Feeling more impassioned by the arts? Upfront Art Gallery is the place!
If it’s a Saturday, make sure you check out the Farmer’s Market for some fresh produce, live music, and local creations! Once you’ve worked up an appetite, head downtown to Gios for paninis, salads, and the best tomato bisque of your life. Get award-worthy vegan fare at Fogwood & Fig, or pop down to Front Street Cafe for the greatest Indian food within 50 miles! If you’d rather take lunch to go and have a picnic in one of Port’s many parks, absolutely do not miss Katery To Go. If it’s a Thursday, you HAVE to get their seared salmon over Caesar salad! Let Fox’n’Hare Brewery take care of your craft beer and burger needs! Not to mention their Buffalo or Teriyaki Brussels… need we say more?
